CLL completed a soil nail stabilised excavation connecting a precast concrete wall. This involved excavating down in four stages and installing 8m long soil nails at each stage.
As part of this process CLL installed 8m long perforated fan drains. Once these works were completed a concrete foundation was poured in front of the stabilized the precast concrete panels were then craned in, these were up to 6m high 150 and were mechanically fixed to the soil nails. The final step was to backfill the wall in layers with no fines concrete and flowable fill.
