The foundation work consisted of completing 240no. piles. The piles were up to 19m deep and combination of 600dia and 750dia reinforced concrete piles. CLL completed 129no. galvanised casings formed with the above ground portion of boundary piles. Following concrete curing CLL carefully gas cut down each side of the pile without damaging the concrete. The casing was then freed from the pile, leaving behind the completed above ground pile/ column.

Bunnings Grey Lynn was the first use of CLL’s new fleet addition, a 25t Kato rough terrain crane to install and place the pile cages. CLL completed all foundation and retaining pile work for Bunnings new store in Grey Lynn, Auckland.
