CLL has successfully completed the initial phase of the Auckland Hospital's new five-storey services building project. This cutting-edge structure is specifically designed to accommodate civil defense and emergency equipment capable of supporting the entire hospitals operations for up to three days.
The project involved the installation of 122 reinforced concrete piles with diameters ranging from 600mm to 1050mm, reaching depths of up to 25 metres. In addition, each pile also required coordination of up to six anchors within their top eight meters.
Our team utilised the EK60 for piling, a 14-tonne support machine, and a 60-tonne crane. We later partnered with the reputable subcontractor Geovert, who provided shotcrete application and ground anchors during the project’s later stages.
